Brass Service Descriptions
We classify some of our most common services into categories. Below is a description of what these packaged services entail.
P/C (Playing Condition)
Instrument will be subject to any and all repair procedures necessary to return the instrument to “PLAYING CONDITION”. Additional Job may be recommended, or itemized charge incurred depending on severity of issue or extent of repair, replacement, and/or fabrication needed. The finish is not guaranteed with this service. P/C’s are based on an hourly rate of $69.00.
Job I (Job One)
Instrument will be disassembled, ultrasonic cleaned and chemically sterilized, all felts and corks replaced, slides fitted and greased, valves aligned and oiled, reassembled, adjusted, and play tested. This does not include plating, broken, or missing parts. The finish is not guaranteed with this service. Job I’s are based on an hourly rate of $69.00.
add Polish
This is an add on service to the Job I, where we polish the reachable areas of the instrument against our buffing machine and hand polish the rest.
Job II (Job Two)
Instrument will be disassembled, ultrasonic cleaned and chemically sterilized, dents removed along with the old lacquers, tubes and braces resoldered, metal parts polished to “LIKE NEW” condition and lacquered, all felts and corks replaced, slides fitted and greased, valves aligned and oiled, instrument reassembled, adjusted, and play tested. This does not include plating, broken, or missing parts. Job II’s are based on an hourly rate of $69.00.
Job III (Job Three)
This entails everything covered in the Job II, except the lacquer finish. Instead, a Job III includes Silver plating.
Reachable Dents
Reachable dent removal can be added to any service or requested by itself. This involves us removing as many of the dents as we can reach with our removal equipment, before we get to the point where we’d have to disassemble the instrument.

We offer a variety of services for maintaining, deep cleaning, repairing, and refurbishing your brass instrument. Our common pricing structure is outlined below, however, final charges are only determined upon physical inspection of your instrument and may vary depending on extent and complexity of the services requested.

Service Warranty
We guarantee only that the parts installed by us will perform satisfactorily under conditions of normal usage for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of repair. If repairs later become necessary due to other defective parts, they will be charged separately.
